Here are a few great automation tools for growing your twitter followers.  Because, who has all day long to click on that silly follow button?  Let these tools do all the work for you so you can head to the beach.

- Hummingbird - This is the cream of the crop as far as I’m concerned.  For only $97 it is currently half price.  These guys are always keeping up with twitter’s constant changes and quickly send out patch updates.  Hummingbird 2 is coming soon and you can download the free beta.

- Twitter Brute Force SEO -Again, great tool. Set it and forget it.  Let it run in the background all day long and watch your twitter followers grow.

- Brute Force Tweeter- Similar name, but Not the same as the SEO one.  BigRichB has nearly 100,000 followers, so the tool must work.

- Twitter Snipe - The expert that brought you Twitter Traffic exposed came out with this hosted solution for $77 and is endorsed by John Chow.

- Tweet AdderThis is a new entry into the market and has multi-language keyword searches and starts at $55 for lifetime upgrades.

Use of any of these twitspam tools will get me to un-follow and block you instantly.

Hey CHL, interesting that you find all of these tools to be twitspam? If you are following users in your niche or ones that you would follow anyway, I don’t see anything wrong with it. But I do agree that any system like this could be abused.

There certainly is a fine line between legitimate marketing and spamming. I don’t know where that line is, so that would make me hesitate to use bulk follow tools like these. If your goal is to build a large following to market your information products or affiliate offers, however, you might get the numbers with these tools, although I’d be interested to see what sort of conversion rates you get on subsequent twitter campaigns. My guess is that the would be fairly low – but that’s just a guess.

Hey Michael, Thanks for stopping by.

I agree there is a fine line and everyone will define it differently. On twitter it is almost like, if you know your followers and promote something, it is marketing, but if they don’t know you, you are spamming them :)

Great blog you got there –> http://www.twitterfools.com/

This is why Twitter is full of spam now, but I LOVE IT :) Great way for us to spam links and get traffic :D

I had heard that using automated tools are more likely to get your account suspended. Can you give me feedback on that?
