Let’s face it, you recommend good movies and books all the time to family and friends. A lot of the time they actually go out and buy the book that you recommend to them, so why not make a small commission off that sale? If you don’t some else will get the referral fee or the book store will just keep the additional profit anyway. I’m not saying constantly pimp books to your twitter followers, but if you read a great book and are planning on tweeting it anyway, get your piece of profit pie. It ain’t much, but it all adds up.
OK, so how do I do it?
- Sign up for the amazon affiliate program.
- Find the book that you want to recommend.
- Get the affiliate link.
- Use a URL shorting tool http://www.bit.ly
- Tweet away!
So go ahead and user your Amazon affiliate links to earn money on twitter!
Oh yah, and buy slumdog millionaire the book! It is now on my top of all time list. Even if you already seen the movie, the book is 5 times better….
